Two years ago, a friend asked me something that shook me:
“I’m doing everything right—keeping mitzvot, praying—so why do I still feel empty and resentful of God?”

That moment sparked a deep journey for me. I realized I didn’t really know what it meant to be close to God. I had grown up with a fear-based view of God—one where every mistake felt like punishment.

 

But through learning the writings of Rav Kook and exploring the deeper meaning of teshuva, I discovered something else:

Returning to God is about love, not fear. It's about reconnecting to your soul, your purpose, and your light.

This concert is born from that journey.
