I usually don’t post about my clients, but right now my heart is exploding with pure Yiddishe nachas.

As I board a plane for Romania to perform for the Jewish community of Bucharest, I can’t help but stop to recognize that I have manifested a moment in my life where I am doing exactly what I was born to do - performing around the world and coaching young artists to excellence.

Singing and Playing and sharing the wisdom that I have collected through my life of soul searching and finding myself.

Working and consulting with organizations that are making a difference to create impactful programming and messaging and using my own special gifts to serve my people.

I couldn’t ask for more in life. Thank you God for gifting me a life so full of meaning.

The thing is, just a few months ago, my life wasn’t this way.

6 months ago I found myself in a field, praying my heart out in a moment of what we call Hitbodedut - personal prayer.

Mas Hachnasa had just cleared out our bank account after a misunderstanding on our part and I looked at my bank balance with the numbers starting with -.

I decided to take some time to talk to God and I went out to the field and I started screaming.

I said God I feel like you wasted your breath on me.

I have no jobs lined up, no opportunities have presented themselves to me, I have no opportunities to be your servant in the way that you created me.

Why did you make me this way- so full of creative energy, so full of skills, so full of passion and desire to change the world.

Please remember me, and use me as your channel in this world.

I promise I will use every breath to praise your name, to show the world what a proud Jew looks like.

I will make all my content for your people. I will make all my work for your people and spreading messages of faith.

My concerts will be concerts that will inspire others to hold onto their roots and faith and every word will be reminding people to hold on to you.

I will keep renewing this contract with you, every day.

When others have lost faith, I will hold onto faith. I will stay where you planted me, I will remind people of the gifts in their lives.

And almost immediately, my life turned around.

and now Romania.

And I recognize something that took me a long time to recognize.

I was sent this world with this gift for a reason and only if I follow that reason will I succeed.

Everything we are is a piece of God.

All the talents and skills and connections and abilities are nothing without the breath of God in us.
